Reflection- Logic and Critical Thinking

Learning logic will have an impact on various areas of my life. Some of the areas that
will greatly be impacted by critical thinking education, not falling into scams and finances.
In education, critical thinking will help ensure that I analyze information critically
and, in so doing, write strong and insightful academic papers. Critical thinking and logic will
be influential in ensuring that I creatively solve various problems. As a student, I expect to
face various problems. My success will be built on solving problems effectively and efficiently. Critical thinking will help me evaluate various ideas and ensure that I select
the best ideas that can aid in the problem-solving process. In taking my studies, I will also be
expected to give others constructive feedback that can help them make various
improvements. Learning logic and critical thinking has helped me to analyze arguments
advanced by other students and ensure that I give them constructive feedback that will help
them make improvements. I have also learned how to challenge assumptions advanced by
other scholars and, in so doing, ensure that I contribute to the debates in the field of
academia.
The area of finances is critical. Mismanagement of one’s finances can result in
the ability to fulfil certain important obligations. In my case, I am a parent, and this means
that many responsibilities come with being a parent. I have to ensure that I take
care of the needs of my children and also pay my school fees. Critical thinking and logic will
be greatly helpful in ensuring that I learn how to manage my finances well. I will also be
keen on ensuring that I get a raise at the job. I have been working for many hours, and my
duties have become even greater during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a medical assistant, I
have been under a lot of pressure to ensure that I deliver results and work towards ensuring
that I meet organizational goals. I will cite these as the reasons why I deserve a little raise at
work. I will also be working towards ensuring that I increase my savings and cut on wastages,
and, in so doing, improve my financial position.

In recent years the number of scams has increased. Scams are driven by the human
nature of wanting to earn a lot of money quickly. One of the main reasons why people fall
victim to scams relates to the fact that many people fail to analyze information critically
before advancing to commit huge amounts of money in suspicious projects. Through critical
thinking and the application of logic, one can easily avoid scams. In my life, I will always
ensure that I analyze investment decisions critically and, in so doing, avoid scams. Critical
thinking will help me achieve fulfillment in life since I will always take time to analyze
information before making any decision. I will avoid losing money and, in so doing, save on
the little that I earn for the future.
