To start, you can In the last year, the United States has had a mostly pleasant experience with socialist
extremes. Many lives may have been saved as a result of this decision. Such a learning process is
in some ways self-reinforcing. Socialism was practiced by all parties, and many found it to be a
positive experience. They saw firsthand how socialism might be beneficial to society in certain
respects. This represents a fundamental shift in the way socialism is viewed. Because of this, it is
reasonable to argue that the American society’s combination of socialism and capitalism is being
reset. Liberals who are concerned about the United States’ continued failings should look at
socialist solutions to revive major sectors of the economy and development.
Kurt Vonnegut’s “Harrison Bergeron” depicts a society in which everyone is on an equal
footing in terms of intellect, physique, and social standing. Throughout our nation’s history,
Americans have been striving for equality in terms of race, gender, and socioeconomic status.
Theoretically, a society like this would be perfect. The American belief that everyone should be
treated equally is one viewpoint, while the story’s depiction of equal treatment is another
(Jefferson, 2019). To be fair, some of Kurt Vonnegut’s ideas may be exaggerated, but that was
his intention all along. He used satire to challenge the idea that a perfect society can be achieved
through the use of humor. The maples plan to pass a “noble” law to ensure equality and fairness
for everyone. The sarcasm of “noble” to use hatchets, axes, and saws to make everyone equal is
obvious (ReasonTV, 2019). However, the maples cannot rise to the level of oaks in order to
achieve equality. As a result, they intend to reduce the oaks to their level by means of
destruction.

Furthermore, an individual’s moral right to pursue their own lives and well-being, and the
right to run their own business by their judgment and to keep their hard-earned money, is the
basis for the argument. The people have an inalienable right to overthrow institutions that fail to
meet the needs of the people and instead serve to enslave, rob, and oppress them (Vonnegut,
2021). Marxists believe that the economic model of socialism can be used to redistribute wealth
and then that wealth can be used to impose communism on a national scale in a capitalist country
(Rush, 2021). People can then move on to creating a communist state after adopting a socialist
economic model. That they have been legalized by statutes and sanctified by divine rights does
not justify their continued existence in the face of their inimical effects on human life.
In conclusion, the liberty-loving men and women should be aware of the great injustice
and brutality of this state of affairs. Through socialism, individuals should declare that every
individual is and ought to be free to own himself and to enjoy the full fruit of his labor. As a
result, citizens are treated as equals and the wealth generated by employees is distributed equally.
To ensure that resources are used and distributed fairly, the government controls the production
process. The means of production cannot be exploited by private companies for their own gain. It
reduces the gap between the rich and the poor since everyone has equal access to the same
amount of money.
