Diversity has influenced humanities differently, and institutions must include humanities
in their curricula. Firstly, diversity has influenced humanities by enabling students to learn
different aspects of life that they face daily. It is vital to acknowledge that humanities inform the
different types of values implicit in diversity and inclusion programs, which help understand the
ways of life of different people. Also, through diversity, institutions have a responsibility to
ensure that students are taught diverse languages, and each student recognizes their value in
society and those of others (Reeves & McIntyre, 2021). Additionally, diversity has ensured that
humanities address the issues that result in bias and discrimination between people. This way, it
is possible to treat each other equally regardless of their race and gender.
The Main Contribution of Diverse Cultures to Creative Expression in the Humanities
A critical examination of diverse cultures indicates that they have numerous contributions
to creative expression in humanities. One of the contributions of diverse cultures is that it has
helped individuals develop great novels and books, enlightening us about different cultures. The
novels and books address issues associated with cultural differences, the best ways to deal with
the differences to improve our interactions with others and recognize that our differences should
not bring division between people (Reeves & McIntyre, 2021). Additionally, diverse cultures are
crucial in creativity because it makes it easy for individuals to interact despite their differences.
Notably, individuals can interact with each other and have a sense of belonging when with
friends from different cultures. Finally, diverse cultures are crucial in helping people explore and
express their different identities in varied ways. Most individuals often fear getting public with

their identities, but with diversity, it is possible because no one has the right to judge others for
who they are.
