Key Areas of Organizational Training

The world has become overly globalized over the 21 st century. Organizations have
appreciated the idea of diversity and inclusion in the workplace where they recruit people from
various cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Diversity has a significant impact on organizational
operations and it determines the success of an organization. In this case, the organization
implemented a training program on diversity and sexual harassment.
To determine whether the training has been successful, the organization is required to
evaluate at the end of the programs. The impact can be measured through quality review to
determine whether it achieved the set goals and objectives at the beginning of the training
(Blanchard & Thacker, 2019). Besides, the success is determined by assessing whether the
scheduled activities were conducted at the set time. It is also likely to have behavior change
among the workforce. Some of the expected changes include people appreciating blended
teamwork which consists of people from different cultural backgrounds. In most cases, women
face sexual harassment as compared to men. Empowering women in the workplace will motivate
them to speak out in case they face any form of harassment. Men will also be encouraged to
appreciate and recognize the position of women in the organization (Bagdasorov & MacDougali,
2019). The implication will be the elimination of gender-based differences that breed sexual
harassment. The reported claims of sexual harassment are expected to reduce after the
implementation of this program.
The success of a training program is measured by determining its impact on the target
group. Diversity in the workplace is likely to result in cases of discrimination if not handled
carefully. Gender inequality can also breed sexual harassment in the workplace. The training

program in diversity and sexual harassment will be measured by assessing the change of
behavior and attitude of the workforce after the training.
