Stagecoach is a narrative film that carries the basic definitive aspects of native movies. It

Mrs Mallory, who was worried about her husband’s injury, learns that it is not serious. However,
if the film was an art film, the audience would get to know what was going on in the minds of the
characters. Their feelings and emotions would be the highlight of the film. The behavior of the
characters would take a step back and would not be the highlight of the film.
Stagecoach does not have an authorial presence. The writers of the film can not be easily
identified. The audience can only do more research into the writers. If the film was rewritten as

an art film, it would have a strong authorial presence. The director and the writers could easily be
traced by analyzing the film. The filmmakers would make sure that their impact is felt in the
film. One would easily tell the director by analyzing the style. Each character would represent
what the writers like or dislike about society. The film would have certain camera angles and
strange manipulations as the authors seek to express their thoughts and feelings. The film would
be a balance between objective realism and subjective realism. The events would replicate both
the reality as it can be objectively perceived by the audience and reality as it can be depicted by
the directors of the film.
Overall, if the film Stagecoach was rewritten to follow the basic structure of art films,
various things would change. The film would not be centred on the action of the characters and
would instead focus on the psychology of the characters. It would not follow the linear style of
narrative films and would instead be centred on the expression of the writers. The writers would
make their thoughts and feelings known in every aspect of the film. This would include the
selection of the characters as well as the events in the film.
