Hello Professor,
One of the times when a change was implemented was when a partner took my night
shifts and allowed me to work during the day. That was a huge sacrifice. I needed to work during
the day because I was attending evening classes. Due to the fact that we were understaffed at
work at the moment, and I had exhausted my off days, I could not be away from work. That
helped me work and attend my evening classes. I liked everything about the change and how
things turned out for me.
Response to Melissa Falk
Hello Melissa, agreeably, bullying is a vice that should be dealt with the seriousness that
it deserves. Bulling can have adverse effects on a person’s psychological well-being. Strong
evidence exists that shows that exposure to bullying in children and adolescents leads to adverse
health outcomes such as depression, anxiety, suicide attempts, non-suicidal self-injury, and poor
general health (Moore et al., 2017). Also, bullying victimization can lead to cigarette smoking
and the use of illicit drugs. Bullying is thus, a challenge that should be addressed.

Response to Justina Rios
Hello Justina, I enjoyed reading your post. Salary is a key factor when it comes to quality
care. Poorly paid staff is a demotivated staff. A good salary gives employees morale to work
harder. They are excited about working hard as they hope to get promotions and maybe even
increases in pay. Research shows that the effect that salary has on an individual level of
motivation is subjective (Ghazanfar et al., 2011). The level of satisfaction and performance
mostly depends on an individual. However, on a personal level, I would be more content and
motivated to work in an environment where I feel I am well compensated.
