“Despite the technological advancements that have been witnessed in the digital era, the United
States Postal Services has stood the test of time and offers many advantages to business owners.”
The organization pattern I have chosen is a compare and contrast pattern. The selected pattern is
suitable for gauging the advantages of the United States Postal Services over other companies that
offer similar services. Through comparisons, the speech will navigate the audience through the
subject matter and describe key variables and themes. Through the use of a compare and contrast
pattern, I will be able to shed more light on the advantages of using the United States Postal
Services and help the business owners have a greater understanding of the topic.
The three main points that I will include are: (1) The United States Postal Services offers
competitive rates for small packages compared to other companies, unlike other mail companies;
(2) the United States Postal Services can deliver to remote areas, and; (3) the United States
Postal Services offers free packaging. The speech will incorporate transitions, on the contrary, on
the other hand, and in contrast. The transitions will help the audience understand the main ideas
of the speech. A seamless transition will be created through the use of transition phrases and
words.

importance of a product or service. Business owners are always looking to compare various
service providers to choose the best product or service. Through a compare and
