One of the topics that stood out to me was formatting text and paragraphs.
Item B
The majority of the work that goes into word documents is formatting text and
paragraphs. Text can be input through typing. However, some versions of word allow audio
input through dictating. However, this option requires an individual to have a Microsoft 365
subscription. Text can be input through typing or by pasting text that has been copied from
another source. One can also import text from another source as an alternative source (Reference
1, n.d). Such sources can include online files or other documents (Reference 1, n.d). Word
documents can be more interesting by adding images, smart art, and 3D models (Reference 3,
n.d). Another feature that I find useful is a reference and research tools. The smart look-up
feature allows one to research more information about words which can be used to improve the
quality of the text.
Item C
One of the functions that I have found great utility within the text and paragraph editing
is the find-replace button. This button allows corrections to be made in a document easily and
conveniently (Reeves, 2014). For example, in a document where the word worker would suit the
context better than the word employee, the find and replace button function can achieve this with
greater utility and speed than reading the whole document to correct it.

The find function also makes it easy to read the document. One can use the find-replace
button or the CTRL + F function, which immediately opens the navigation tab on the left side of
the document, where you can search for a keyword to find where it is located in the document.
